Wynn Nixed as Manager by Tigers Saturday, June 11th, 2022 The general manager of the Hanshin Tigers today fired his manager, Bobby Wynn, citing "failure to utilize all elements of his roster properly." Speaking to reporters while cleaning out his office, Wynn was asked to comment on that assessment. He responded, "Part of a team's success comes from the talent that is put on the field every day. It's common knowledge that the Tigers are missing a few key components. I got the best out of the talent I was given. Maybe the wrong person was fired." |
