Giants SP Thuan Out Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 "I'm frustrated right now," said Yomiuri starting pitcher Quang Thuan. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Giants, that's where he will be spending 11-12 months. Thuan suffered a torn rotator cuff in today's game against Hanshin while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." On the season Thuan has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 4.09 ERA in 11 starts. In pitching 61.2 innings he has 70 strikeouts and 22 walks while limiting the opposition to a .245 batting average. |
