Skipper Lake's Goose Cooked -- Fired in Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 A press conference announcing the firing of Jeremy Lake has been set for today by the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. When pressed for reasons behind the decision to fire Lake, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham GM said, "We spoke in my office for an hour and decided that it was time to make a change. Unfortunately, his philosophy was no longer working in the clubhouse and a new voice was necessary for us to continue moving in the right direction." A replacement is expected to be named to the media later today immediately following the press conference. |
