Just ask Wing-kit Chen, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles closer, 18, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .188 average and walked away with the Pacific League Pitcher of the Month award for March. Chen posted a 3-0 mark and a 3.12 ERA in 8 relief appearances. In 8.2 innings, he had 3 saves, 15 strikeouts, and 6 walks. |
