Yin and Bechelany Suspended 3 Games Sunday, March 13th, 2022 Baseball confrontations occasionally get intense and sometimes that tension becomes too much and boils over into more than just words. This time it happened to Saitama Seibu's Pang Yin and Tohoku Rakuten's Juan Bechelany. The two were the main participants in a fight that cleared the benches. Today both were suspended by the league for 3 games for their aggressive actions. "I hope things settle down now," the manager of the Golden Eagles said later. "There's no reason for us to be locked in a cycle of revenge. We all need to focus on baseball instead." So far this season Yin is hitting .300 with no home runs. |
