Pacific League Names Top Player Monday, July 12th, 2021 Il-hwan Kim of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Kim put up some great numbers and hauled in the Pacific League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .429 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. The 16-year-old catcher also scored 7 runs and for the week went 9-21. This year Kim is batting .333 with 19 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 13 times and has batted in 19 runs. |
