Umrigar Selected PL Player of the Week Monday, June 28th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific League, but last week Kamadev Umrigar of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Umrigar rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (6-14), 3 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. To date this year Umrigar is batting .256 with 3 home runs. |
