Ouch! Florent Fontaine Shelved by Injury Monday, April 10th, 2023 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Legends when after today's game against the Monarchs, the club found out they would be without the services of Florent Fontaine for at least 11 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Fontaine was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament. On his stats sheet for the year Fontaine shows a 3-3 record, 8 starts, 43.1 innings, 36 strikeouts and a 3.53 ERA. |
