Rodríguez Belts 5 Hits Saturday, April 16th, 2022 It seemed that London center fielder Santiago Rodríguez could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right. The Monarchs still dropped the game to the Outlaws by the score of 13-11. He did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Calgary prevailed in the ballgame at Hatchets Ballpark. "I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough. We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play. The balls just fell in for base hits. Some days they do that," Rodríguez explained in the postgame press interview. Santiago Rodríguez walked in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
