Kim Strokes 3 HR Against Victoria Friday, April 8th, 2022 Tal-hun Kim was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the Trois-Rivieres 24-4 triumph over Victoria, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands. Nobody who was at Ballpark of Chilliwack College will forget this home run outburst anytime soon. The Trois-Rivieres third baseman went 4-5, rung up 11 RBIs and scored 5 runs on his record-setting day. He told the press corps after his three home run binge, "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight. I can't wait until tomorrow's game. I really feel good at the plate." Tal-hun Kim walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Lloyd Hunt in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Oliver Cruz in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Phil McKee in the 7th, walked in the 9th and flied out in the 9th. To date, Kim has collected 42 hits for a .321 average. He has posted 8 home runs, scored 26 runs and driven in 29 runs. |
