Green: Big Hit in the Lester B. Person League Monday, April 5th, 2021 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Lester B. Person League, but last week Gregg Green of the Niagara Stars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Green rocked opposing pitching for a .474 average (9-19), 5 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Green is batting .440 with 11 home runs. His totals include 33 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
