Green Wins LBL Player of the Week Honors Monday, March 29th, 2021 16-year-old Gregg Green made a few Niagara headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Lester B. Person League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 18 hits in 34 at-bats to put up a .529 average. Green collected 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 10 runs. This season Green has hit at a .433 clip with 23 RBIs, 6 home runs and 22 runs scored. He has played in 22 games. |
