Butler Sizzles with 25-Game Batting Streak Friday, April 21st, 2023 Bulldogs catcher Jack Butler was beaming today after his team had beaten Texas 7-5 at Ballpark of Celebration College. He had contributed 2 hits to the victory and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. "Life is good when the hits keep coming like they have in the last few weeks. I hope I can keep it up a little while longer." Jack Butler grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Matt Whitney in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Butler is hitting .372 and has collected 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and scored 27 times, while playing in 38 games. |
