Banks Twirls No-Hitter Against Razorbacks Monday, April 10th, 2023 "This is one of the best moments of my life," Ken Banks said. "You never think that's going to happen -- a no-hitter." He made those comments after he held the Razorbacks hitless in the Virginia 2-0 victory at Ramparts Ballpark. "We simply couldn't get any wood on the ball," said the Arkansas manager, when asked about his epic performance. "Banks was brilliant out there. He certainly had our number." Banks was more humble about his historic feat and told BNN reporters that he was "just happy to get the win for the club." He faced only 28 batters in the no-hit gem, struck out 8 and walked 1. To date this year Banks has compiled a 3-1 mark with a 2.97 ERA in 5 starts. |
