Wolverines Walker Sizzles with Cycle Saturday, April 1st, 2023 "Some days everything falls in place and you have an almost perfect day." Those were the comments from Michigan center fielder Paul Walker today as his 4-5 day included the cycle, a baseball rarity. "He sure was a wrecking ball today," said one teammate after the Wolverines tamed the Bulldogs 19-2 at Siege Ballpark. Paul Walker hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Miguel Leyva in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 8th. For the year Walker has hit at a .270 clip with 14 RBIs, 4 home runs and 14 runs scored. |
