Davis Bashes 5 Base Hits Sunday, March 19th, 2023 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what LSU left fielder Mike Davis said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Ole Miss Rebels at South Paris College Grounds. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Tigers had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 12-6. Mike Davis singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Russ Reid in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ernie Dennis in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. For the season Davis has hit .432 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 12 games and scored 9 times. |
