Injury Worsens, Michigan's Butler Ends Career Friday, June 24th, 2022 The news couldn't be any worse -- Michigan doctors told Thom Butler his baseball career is probably over. The 19-year-old reliever received the harrowing news yesterday. Wolverines team officials were notified that Butler had suffered irreparable damage and would not recover from a bone spur in his elbow, at least not enough to be able to resume his baseball career. |
