Oregon State-UCLA Brawl, Franklin and Luciani Suspended Sunday, April 17th, 2022 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at Palisades Ballpark have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Bob Franklin of the Oregon State Beavers and Matthieu Luciani of the UCLA Bruins. Currently Franklin is hitting .263 and has collected 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 22 times, while playing in 33 games. To date, Luciani has collected no saves in 15 relief appearances. He has rung up 19 strikeouts and 15 walks in 12.1 innings while registering a 7.30 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost record. |
