Ramsey Bashes 5 Base Hits Saturday, April 16th, 2022 The Tigers tripped up the Tar Heels 13-12 today, led by Pete Ramsey, their 20-year-old third baseman. He tagged North Carolina pitching for 5 hits, making life miserable for them the entire game. Pete Ramsey doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Larry Swanson in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
