Tizon Gets 3-Game Suspension Saturday, April 9th, 2022 Hassle an umpire and you will have to pay the consequences. Just ask Michigan left fielder Winston Tizon. He argued to excess over a third strike yesterday in the Michigan-Missouri game at Ballpark of Ridge College. Today the league office notified Tizon that he had been given a 3-game suspension for his egregious conduct. Luckily the Wolverines manager and the bench coach intervened physically and removed him from the field. Otherwise it might have gotten even worse. Thus far this year Tizon is hitting .189 with 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
