Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl

Following a mass brawl, the league has suspended Júlio Torres of Wake Forest and Robert Donovan of Kansas. The players will have to sit out 9 games each after trouble flared up between the Demon Deacans and the Jayhawks at a recent game at Cypress Quarters College Grounds.
So far this year, Torres is batting .197 with 1 home run and 4 RBIs.
Taking a look at his season stats for 2022, Donovan has made 5 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark with a 5.40 ERA. In pitching 6.2 innings, he has totaled 2 strikeouts and 3 walks.
