Deleón Red-Hot, SBL Player of the Week Monday, March 14th, 2022 18-year-old Dante Deleón made a few Indiana State headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Skip Bertman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 19 at-bats to put up a .421 average. Deleón collected 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 9 runs. |
