Aggies Hitless Against Cox Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 Allen Cox was untouchable today at Nesquehoning College Fields, displaying a good fastball, a wicked curve and an unhittable change in his 4-0 win against the Texas A&M Aggies. The USC hurler did not allow a single hit, fanning 15 while walking 2 and entering the record books. "Hey, this is great," Cox told reporters after the game. "Every pitcher wants a no-hitter. This is nice, but I just want to win. The no-hitter is just a little extra icing on the victory cake." This season Cox has crafted a 3-2 mark with a 2.98 ERA in 48.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .192 against him and he has 70 strikeouts. |
