Quintero, Bernal Receive 4-Game Suspensions Friday, March 19th, 2021 Nobody was hurt in a confrontation yesterday between the Tigers Carlos Quintero and the Cougars Miguel Bernal as both benches cleared during the fracas at South Paris College Grounds. It appeared that there were a few punches thrown before the players could be separated. Today the league commissioner took action. The league decided to punish the guilty parties. Carlos Quintero and Miguel Bernal will each have to sit out 4-game suspensions for their roles in this fight. So far this season Quintero has gotten 4 hits in 32 at-bats for a .125 batting average with no home runs. His stats include 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has played in 12 games. |
