Waters Takes Best Bat Award in September Sunday, October 1st, 2023 When Desmond Waters stepped up to the plate in September, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the August Herrman League Batter of the Month award. The young Cherry Hill first baseman posted a .336 batting average with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Waters also worked pitchers for 20 walks to post a .438 on-base percentage. Waters is batting .325 this year with 12 home runs, 66 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has 87 hits in 268 at-bats. |
