Injury Ends Career of Bakhtiar Khojaminasov Saturday, September 16th, 2023 There was sad news in the baseball world today when it was announced that the career of Eugene center fielder Bakhtiar Khojaminasov was suddenly ended by a torn labrum. He was hurt making a defensive play during a game against the Coney Island Cyclones. The crowd at Coney Island Coliseum feared the worst when Khojaminasov had to be carried off the field in a stretcher to the team training room. Khojaminasov was taken to the hospital for tests after the game. Team doctors confirmed the diagnosis and said his career was over. A look at his current stats shows Khojaminasov with a .204 average, 14 home runs, 66 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has played in 143 games. |
