AHL Player of the Week Named Monday, July 3rd, 2023 Susumu Yamamoto burst onto the August Herrman League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Bethesda garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 19-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .607 (17-28) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs last week. Currently Yamamoto has 1 home run and a .500 batting average. |
