In the Road Warriors 12-3 win over Austin, Tian-bai Cheng was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at Road Warriors Field. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for a 5-hit game. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." On his big day Cheng delivered 5 hits in 6 at-bats. Tian-bai Cheng grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Cheng is hitting .333 this season with 5 home runs, 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 141 at-bats. |
