AHL Selects Kato May's Best Pitcher Thursday, June 1st, 2023 Yoritoki Kato hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Albuquerque starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 36 innings, struck out 33 and compiled a solid 2.75 ERA. In 11 starts this season Kato has recorded a 7-1 record and a 3.18 ERA. |
