O Cracks 3 HRs for Kingwood Friday, May 12th, 2023 Hyo-sang O must believe in the Big Bang theory. He proved it today by going deep three times against the Nichols Gnats. The heavy-hitting Kingwood right fielder added a lot of firepower and excitement to today's 13-4 win over the Gnats. Fans and foes alike are still buzzing about his standout performance at Stable Park. He told reporters, "I've been working on my swing ... trying to keep it short, compact and simple. It worked today." For the game he had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 4, and scored 3 runs. Hyo-sang O walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Samuel Keeble in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Huy Ba in the 6th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Dongdo-pa Chen in the 8th. This year O is hitting .375 with 5 home runs and 13 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .485 clip and scored 11 runs. |
