Xi Sidelined for 12 Months
Friday, April 21st, 2023
"It was a freak thing," said a dejected Liu-liang Xi after injuring himself in a game against St. Paul. The Barrow manager told reporters that he's expected to miss up to 12 months with a damaged elbow ligament. The Frosties are expected to announce a roster move in the next day or two.
Crunching the numbers on Xi for the year, he has made 10 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and 4.61 ERA. In pitching 13.2 innings, he has totaled 15 strikeouts and 7 walks.
