Rin Honored, 2022 BOL Silver Slugger Award Friday, November 4th, 2022 Pretty much all season Noriyuki Rin was "in the zone" and had his way with opposing pitchers. The Jedi Knights second baseman managed to stay there long enough to earn the Buck O'Neil League Silver Slugger Award for 2022. He assaulted BOL pitchers for a .312 batting average, 173 hits, 26 home runs and 136 RBIs, while scoring 110 times.Sadakuno Matsumoto of the Victoria Vikings finished second in voting, while Juan Garza of the Coney Island Cyclones finished third. |
