Blue Claws End Ford's Streak Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 The Baltimore Blue Claws did something to Brad Ford no team had done for the last 20 games -- they held him hitless and stopped his consecutive-game hitting streak. But they didn't stop the Knights. Kingwood came away with a 7-0 victory at Stable Park. Commenting on the demise of the streak, the 25-year-old right fielder told BNN, "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever, but it was a good ride while it lasted." Presently Ford is hitting .302 with 5 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 78 games and scored 35 times. |
