AHL Selects Tyson July's Best Starter Monday, August 1st, 2022 Morgan Tyson took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month award for July. The 19-year-old Road Warriors starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 5 starts. This month he fanned 34 batters in 29.1 innings and compiled a 2.15 ERA. Up to now Tyson has compiled an ERA of 4.07 with a 12-4 mark over 22 starts. He has 173 strikeouts in 126 innings and has held opponents to a .251 batting average. |
