Shelton Picked Best Player Monday, July 18th, 2022 23-year-old Logan Shelton made a few Baltimore headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Buck O'Neil League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 14 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Shelton collected 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This season in 24 games Shelton is batting .278 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and has scored 16 times. |
