Westside Right Fielder Nets AHL Award Monday, June 27th, 2022 18-year-old Jon Pittman made a few Westside headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and August Herrman League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .542 average. Pittman collected 1 home run, 9 RBIs and scored 8 runs. In the 2022 season Pittman is hitting .387 with 5 home runs. |
