Vedavyasa Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 The Jedi Knights proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Princes 8-1, but Vij Vedavyasa continued his god-like hitting as he collected 2 hits and ran his hitting streak to 20 games. When asked about his torrid-hitting left fielder, the New Orleans skipper said, "Vedavyasa is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Vedavyasa was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters." Vij Vedavyasa grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Vedavyasa is presently hitting at a .271 pace with 2 home runs and 12 RBIs. He has played in 34 games and scored 18 times. |
