Great Day for Trevino -- 5 Hits Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 It was high-5 day at Old Bay Park, at least for Félix Trevino of the Baltimore Blue Claws. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Palm Beach Bums. Trevino smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 15-7 win. His manager said, "Félix was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine." Félix Trevino hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Carlos Caraballo in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. In his season totals Trevino has 7 home runs and a .344 batting average. |
