Djambek Socks it to Saints, Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, April 30th, 2022 Pramana Djambek told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Djambek of the Coney Island Cyclones did against the St. Paul Saints. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Saints, who suffered a 9-7 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." Pramana Djambek singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Posting a .435 batting average to date, Djambek has no home runs and 6 RBIs. |
