Ts'ai Blisters Baltimore Thursday, April 28th, 2022 It seemed that Winfield first baseman Zi-jun Ts'ai could do no wrong as the Warriors kayoed the Blue Claws 8-5 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Baltimore pitchers couldn't get him out as Ts'ai seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the Warriors were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Baltimore fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Ts'ai in the postgame press interview. Zi-jun Ts'ai hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Pedro Lugo in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Batting .297 to date, Ts'ai has 1 home run and 8 RBIs. |
