Those were the opening words of the specialist that treated Winfield Warriors reliever Soo-yeon Park for a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Speaking at a press conference, the doctor went on to say, "In my professional opinion, it is highly doubtful that Soo-yeon will ever play baseball again. Miracles are always possible, but not in this case. The original injury was treatable, but several setbacks during the rehabilitation worsened the situation and did more damage." The distraught Park also spoke to reporters, saying, "I anticipated that the recovery would be slow, but I never expected this."
