Westside's Starter Receives AHL Pitching Award Friday, October 1st, 2021 Over the past month Shafeeq bin Nooh has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the August Herrman League. He proved all that and now he's been named September's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Westside Road Warriors posted 6-0 mark and a 1.73 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 36.1 innings, permitted 26 hits and fanned 39 batters. In the current season in 34 starts, Shafeeq bin Nooh has a record of 13-9 with 191 strikeouts in 198.2 innings and a 4.58 ERA. |
