Gnats Magsi Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Ebrahim Magsi of the Gnats had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today, but he couldn't pull out the victory. Despite his hitting heroics, Nichols fell in defeat 7-5 to the Victoria Vikings at The drakkar. The 19-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview, "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time. It would have been very special, if we had won the game." Ebrahim Magsi hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. To date this year Magsi is batting .318 with 6 home runs. |
