Banks Blisters Whitewater Monday, September 13th, 2021 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. It might come around only once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Rocky Banks got one today. He scattered hits all over Hornets Field to pace Bethesda to a 16-9 victory over Whitewater. The Whitewater skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Banks hit several that he is not supposed to hit." Rocky Banks doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. In 2021 Banks has hit at a .262 clip with 147 hits, 3 home runs, 59 RBIs and has scored 80 times. |
