Rowdy Players Suspended by League Thursday, August 26th, 2021 Dai-lin Lian of the Albuquerque Human Beings and Bob Roy of the Whitewater Eagles got into a wrestling match yesterday at The Whig Stadium and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 5-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. In 58 games this season Lian is batting .225 with 27 hits and no home runs. He has scored 10 runs and driven in 14. For the year Roy has a 2-7 record with a 5.40 ERA in 14 starts. |
