Pérez Grabs BOL Best Batter Award for June Thursday, July 1st, 2021 Júlio Pérez is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the New Orleans center fielder joined that select company when the Buck O'Neil League announced the results of June's voting. Pérez totaled 34 hits, 23 walks, 2 home runs, 21 RBIs and 29 runs scored last month to put together a .333 batting average and .460 on-base percentage. This season Pérez is hitting at a .342 pace with 6 home runs, 30 RBIs and has scored 47 times. |
