AHL Announces May's Best Starter Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 In May, Peter Curnow tore through the August Herrman League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 19 years old. The young Sanford starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 1.10 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 41 innings he collected 46 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .197 average. For the season Curnow has logged 4 wins and 2 losses and struck out 59 batters in 57.1 innings while compiling a 2.83 ERA. |
