Super Swinger -- Samurakami Slams 5 Hits Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 Whitewater center fielder Toru Samurakami could do no wrong in today's 7-3 win over the Seals as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Seals said to the press corps after the game. Samurakami agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Toru Samurakami singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
