Stingrays-Eagles Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions Monday, April 12th, 2021 At a recent Stingrays-Eagles contest at Baylor Ballpark, Wing-fung Zhang of Sanford took exception to what Richard Howard of Whitewater said to him and tackled him. This led to an old-fashioned bench-clearing free-for-all between the two clubs. After the umpires restored order, they ejected both players. Today the league commissioner's office took action and suspended each player for 4 games, citing them for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct." Zhang is currently hitting at a .200 pace with no home runs and 0 RBIs. |
