FFL's #1 Player for 2023 Named Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 One of the Ford Frick League's most prestigious honors is the Silver Slugger Award. When the votes were counted, the 2023 recipient was the talented left fielder of the Sandy Springs Spartans, Billy Daig. He starred this season with a .268 batting average, 141 hits, 49 home runs, 150 RBIs, .376 OBP and 106 runs scored. Mario Rivera of the Rock River Rats finished second in voting, while Kenshin Yamashita of the San Antonio Storm Troopers finished third. |
